Solution
To resolve this, you must strictly disable Secure Boot in your BIOS settings.1
Enter BIOS
Restart your computer. As it powers on, repeatedly press your BIOS key (commonly
DEL, F2, F10, or ESC) until the BIOS menu appears.2
Locate Secure Boot
Navigate to the Boot, Security, or Authentication tab.
(The location varies depending on your motherboard manufacturer: ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte, etc.)
3
Disable the Setting
Find the option labeled Secure Boot and set it to Disabled.
Tip: If the option is greyed out, you may need to set a “Supervisor Password” temporarily or change “OS Type” from Windows UEFI to Other OS.
4
Save and Exit
Press
F10 to save your changes and exit. Your PC will restart into Windows.
